Cameroon: MINFOPRA launches recruitment of young teachers in Scientific and technical subjects
In Cameroon, many youths see the public service as the next best thing to securing a future for themselves.
In this regards, the government has decided to increase the civil service by a small margin of 1,000.
The unit led by Michel Ange Angouing launched on Thursday 22nd June, the recruitment of 1000 young bilingual graduates in technical and scientific fields.
This recruitment is a statement from the Ministry of Public Service and Administrative Reform to reduce the deficit of teachers in scientific and technical subjects.
The recruitment concerns a total of 24 technical courses and 10 scientific courses.
Finalized candidates will be assigned to regions where priority needs for teaching staff in science and technology are to be covered,” the statement said.
Candidates have until 15 September 2017 to send their applications.
This follows previous releases by the same unit to specially recruit through competitive exams young Cameroonians into public service via “two special competitive exams for the recruitment of 50 pupil Magistrates and 30 English-speaking student court registrars at the Judiciary and Registrar division of ENAM for the academic year 2017-2018 “.
He specifies that potential candidates must be at least 17 years of age and not more than 32 years old on 1 January 2018.

Other Recruitments in Cameroon
The president of Cameroon, Paul Biya, signed and issued on Monday May 8, 2017, a communique ordering an entrance examination for recruitment of Cameroonians into the National Security.
In the category special concours, 25 students needed for police commissioners, 50 for police officers and 50 for police inspectors.
For the direct entrance concours of student police commissioners: 2 student commissioners of police design engineers in computer science in the 2nd year, 2 student commissioners of police engineer of works in electromechanics in the 1st year and 71 student commissioners of police in the 1st year.
The direct entrance concours of 1st year student police officers: 100 students.
