Prior to the “abduction” of H.E Sisiku Tabe Ayuk and nine of his cabinet members in the capital of Nigeria on saturday the 6th of January 2018, news circulated on social media that they were arrested by the Nigerian government.
It was vividly concluded by some know-alls that the arrest of the Ambazonia leader and his close collaborators was not in connection to any international arrest warrant but because of a suspected military training camp discovered recently in Taraba which might be the Ambazonian military training ground.
Just when southern Cameroonians had hopes that H.E Sisiku Tabe Ayuk and nine others will soon be released, southern Cameroon’s political activist Mark Bareta made a shocking revelation about the recent abduction.
“The abductions of our leaders is an Inside JOB. It is a complicated network planned for long. That person will be known and dealt with, I promise. We promise that. We need an Acting Interim President (AIP) now. I have said my own. I hope the remaining members of the Cabinet are reading”
Who could Mark Bareta be referring to? Let’s see how things unfold.
This only comes to show how slippery the road upon which the activists move is. It’s very obvious that a lot of people are in that movement for personal gain and nothing more. Although many have paid deaf ears to the recent mismanagement of funds by Tapang Ivo and crew, it is no doubt that a whole lot of scam is going on within the cycle. People are getting richer while others are homeless and others dying as refugees in Nigeria, not forgetting those killed by the soldiers in Cameroon.
